With more than 100 exhibitors and booksellers, there are appearances by local, celebrity and nationally known authors, book signings, and nonstop readings on multiple stages. Continuing weekends through October is the Maryland Renaissance Festival. This is the second largest Renaissance Festival in the United States. Relive the times of King Henry VIII through theatrical performances, pubs, food booths and over 130 craft shops. Continue to support your Baltimore Orioles in their last month of baseball. September’s home games include series against the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, and Boston Red Sox. If football is more your game, then you are in luck because September is the start of the NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens have home games September 15 against rival Cleveland Browns and September 22 against the Houston Texans.
